Chance Summers has been a boys' home director, headmaster, and elder. His passion for cigars began when his wife encouraged him to take up a new hobby. Over the past two years, Chance has been testing cigar blends for 1689 Cigars. Before that, he often spent time in his local cigar lounge, chatting with his tobacconist and dreaming of launching his own cigar line one day. Chance currently serves as an elder at a Reformed Baptist church in Kentucky. The company, 1689 Cigars, is founded on the historical confessions of the church, and all of its products reflect significant events in church history. One thing you should know about Chance is that he often looks serious, but he is a jokester at heart. His three favorite cigars from 1689 are the Savoy Green Label Habano, Westminster Orange Label Connecticut, and a prototype Connecticut.
Since 2016, Abolish Abortion Texas has been a leading grassroots organization mobilizing Christians to advocate in the political halls of power for the end of elective abortion in Texas. During the Texas state legislative sessions in 2017, 2019, 2021 & 2023, AATX has written and advocated for bills that have been filed and which if passed would have abolished abortion in Texas. Multiple State Representatives and a State Senator have joined us by filing these bills and boldly advocating for their passage. Others have joined them in co-sponsoring. Sadly, many other leaders in Texas have stood in the way of these bills and the equal protection they provide to all Texans, born and unborn. AATX is actively recruiting and discipling Texas Christians, pastors, and elected officials who believe in the principles of abolition and will join us in this fight.
